Brad's 29th Birthday

We had a fun Sunday last weekend, to celebrate Brad and Devin's birthdays. Brad's was Sunday, and Devin's was Monday. So, we had a great meal...homemade pizza, fettucine alfredo, salad, and of course...cake!! Cara came to help us celebrate, of course. When we got home from church, Brad opened one of his gifts, and Bryson and I got him a nerf "shoot gun" (as Bryson calls it), so that he can play with Bryson and they can get the 'bad guys' together....Bryson got the exact same toy from Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz for Christmas this year, so it was only fair that Daddy had one too, right?!?! :) Anway, Brad loved it and the boys went to go play right away....after marking with a sharpie whose was Daddy's and whose was Bryson's!! I made a really yummy cake, and ended up doing it, and the frosting, from scratch. Which mostly was by accident, because I didn't get to the store to buy a box mix. So, I found a fairly simple recipe online, had all the ingredients, and tried it out! I turned out sooo yummy. Chocolate cake with a white chocolate frosting. The birthday boys liked it and I think had great birthday!
