Hairbow flowers

So, I've been exploring my "crafty" side and have been having a blast creating some hair clippies and flower clippies for Annabelle! Cara's helped me a bit, and has made a few for herself as well! Doesn't she look cute?? I'll post more on the other flower clippies and more pics later....promise! but, just wanted to share these few cute pics while I had them handy!

Cute, right?? I'm pretty proud of them and am having a blast making them. They are SO easy and it's so rewarding to create something so cute with so little effort! more pics to come...

A full and fun Saturday!

I've heard of these free child workshops at Lowe's & Home Depot, but have never been to one. My friend Dana invited us to go along with her to the Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop and we loved it!! So, Dana & her son Colby, and Bryson & me, along with Annabelle ventured to Lowe's on a Saturday morning and made some adorable pirate ships! Arrrr, mateys! Then we made a few stops for errands, came home to relax a bit, then headed to Malibu Castle for a friend's birthday party! For my hometown friends....it was Alyssa (Fisk) De La Cruz's daughter Jordyn!! Fun, fun. So, here are some pics from that fun-filled Saturday.
The boys building thier pirate ships!
Annabelle being "patient" in her stroller! :)
Bryson proud of his finished product, complete with a plank that slides out....very cool!

Chillin in the van...having a snack while Dana & I took turns running into Walgreens.
The awesome chairs I scored at Walgreens for $3.49 each! And the sweaty, tired kids after spending about and hour at a garage sale down the street while Mom looked a kids clothes and scored a bunch of great stuff for Bryson AND Annabelle! Wahoo....gotta love garage sales.... clothes for 50 cents each!
Jordyn with her gift from us....notice the little flower hairclips I made for her!
Yumm....Pizza!
Aunt Cara came along and was a huge help and we had tons of fun!
It was soooo hot, though!
It was a bit sunny.....
Bryson's first time mini-golfing and he LOVED it!
Bryson and Fabian...Alyssa's son "playing" on the motocycle video games
Bryson scored with the tickets and got a few fun prizes before we left....thanks for a great time, Alyssa!

Sleeping Baby = So sweet!

I love any "sleeping baby" photos I can get of Annabelle, because they are few and far between! We keep her bedroom door locked from the inside during nap and bedtime, so Bryson doesn't disturb her when he wakes up. So, it's rare that I get to snap a pic of her still sleeping! So here are a few for you to enjoy!

Joe McDermott music show!

A few weeks ago, we went to the New Braunfels Library for a fun music show! Joe McDermott, and awesome children's musician from Austin came to perform and entertain the kids. He is so much fun, and I really enjoy his music....it's great for entertaining Bryson in the car! Here's a pic, and little video. The song he's singing is "I am Baby," and the lyrics are, "I am baby, I am trouble, and I can walk!" Kinda fitting Annabelle is wandering around doing her own thing during the show!

cute pics and sweet moments

I have been having so much fun with my kids lately, and enjoying their funny, cute, tender, sweet moments.
  • Annabelle giving me "real" hugs where she squeezes with her little arms and lays her head on my shoulder....just can't get enough of these!!

  • Bryson being so concerned about his sister when we're out and about at public places and making sure she is safe. so sweet!

  • Annabelle removing the basket and other toys from the bottom shelf of the bookshelf and climbing in to rest and shoot a huge grin at me...look at me, Mom! too cute!

  • Bryson helping Annabelle onto the couch, get books for both of them, and sit quietly for oh......about 3 minutes.....but, boy those 3 minutes were heavenly!

  • Oh and Bryson wanting to sing "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home" every night when he chooses his 2 bedtime songs.....sigh* love my family....my wonderful husband, & my sweet babies -

Fun with Cara & Abbie!

We had some fun a few weeks ago with Aunt Cara and Abbie (Cara's BFF from Iowa). It was fun to see her, hang out at the house, and enjoy a day together at the zoo.
Bryson took to Abbie right away, and of course loved the attention he was getting from her!

SA Zoo

Here are a few pics from our zoo endeavor! Enjoy! Crocodile, up close and personal!!
Bryson loves the zebra!
She was pooped and get a much-needed nap in the stroller!
at the BEACH, yep that's right...a beach at the SA Zoo! We love it!

Quality time with Daddy!

During the summer it's hard to enjoy quality time with Daddy - so we'll take it whenever we can. Brad is working long hours and late nights during the summer months, so he can then be home with us during the wintertime! We sure appreciate his hard work to provide for our family. Here are a few pics from a few weeks ago, enjoying some cuddle time with Daddy in the playroom and sharing a few laughs before bedtime! Be sure to click the video to hear our sweet Annabelle laughing!

so...it's been awhile...

My number one excuse for not posting anything lately (besides being lazy...cough*) is that one of our SD cards is M.I.A!!!!! and I'm totally sick about it!! I had put the card in the card reader on the front of the computer, and the next day...gone!! I think one of the kids (probably Annabelle) pulled it out (because it's right within her reach) and now it's gone...boohoo! There were some really great pics and videos on there that I am sad to lose. The card may turn up eventually, but I'm not counting on it. So, a quick summary of the last few weeks: (not too much, really...) - last weekend in may we went to a San Antonio Missions baseball game for a friend's birthay party and had a blast! ....our personal pics lost on the missing SD card, but I'll post some I stole from friend's blogs and facebook and such... Complete with a pre-game picnic, Fun Zone with playsets and inflatables, the Baseball Game!, the kids running the bases with Balapeno (mascot), and snocones toward the end of the game. It was a ton of fun, and huge thanks to Carrie, Brendan, and JR for a great time! - we've had lots of fun hanging out with Aunt Cara and are LOVING having her here for the summer! - friend's birthday parties, church activities, hanging out at home in the AC to escape the 100 degree weather, and this past week, Bryson spent the mornings at his school for an Art Camp, where he created all kinds of fun things and brought home lots of treasures for us...FUN! Balapeno leading the way as the kids run around the field (only allowed on the grass because the game wasn't over yet)
running the bases....Bryson is in the green shirt and black hat...
Isabella, Ryan & Bryson....good buddies!
